Participants will understand the criteria that USDA NRCS uses to evaluate natural resource conditions in the field and document the resource concerns for conservation planning purposes.

The Q&A will be posted as soon as it is available.

Participants will understand how to use Resource Concern Checklists and the Planning Criteria in FOTG Section III to determine the presence or absence of resource concerns. The webinar will proceed through the process of completing a resource concern checklist using screening and assessment questions. The webinar will also review how assessment tools such as Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation Version 2, Stream Visual Assessment Protocol Version 2, Rangeland Health Assessment, and Pasture Condition Score fit into the Resource Inventory process and how results from the checklist can be incorporated into the Environmental Evaluation benchmarks and alternative actions.

This webinar is presented by USDA NRCS Science and Technology.
